cooking spiritual soup
there's no one way to heal
There are too many spiritual practices nowadays.
Some say go sit with plant medicine.
Others reccomend mantra, and ice baths.
Still others claim daily morning journaling and twice a day kria yoga is the way.
Meanwhile, your crystals sit there, gathering dust, your vision board looks like a toddler's art project, and that expensive sound bowl is now your cat's favorite drinking dish.
So what to do?
My mentor Jenn Hill once told me “spirituality is like a soup”. You can add any ingredients you like.
I believe she is right.
The truth is there is no one way.
Sometimes the recepie calls for mantra, breathwork, and ice baths.
Other times it’s a breakup, some good cries, and inner family systems work.
There has never been any way to practice spirituality. And there never will be.
The ingredients for our spirituality constantly rotate and change.
It’s not important what you do. As long as you do so fully and completley so we keep our spiritual soup warm.
In health,
Nick
P.S. if you want to add a new ingredient to your spiritual soup, our friend Lisa De Narvaez is hosting an online breathwork journey this Sunday at 2pm New York Time, and 7pm Lisbon time. Use code LIGHTSCHOOL50 for half off here.
